There are over 5000 fragrances used in the skincare and cosmetics market, but they also pop up in places where you’d least expect them – like tissues, nappies and rubbish bags. Many of us love fragrances and have no problem with them but according to allergy specialist Dr. Vincent Crump, they’re one of the top allergens that cause ACD (Allegen Contact Dermatitis).
In Part 2 of our allergy series we take a closer look at fragrances with Dr. Crump. Check out our short video below (and a big thank you to the Koko-Iuli0 girls for starring in our video! Their mum, Iloa manages the ecostore Shop in Freemans Bay)
Does someone you know have a fragrance allergy? We’d love to hear your story.
